I started this painting over twenty years ago!

It’s fundamentally about light and the way the light plays games across a table, filtered by the curtains and the plant. The young woman sitting, lost in thought, is herself bathed in light, creating a warm and dreamy atmosphere.

I don’t know why I took so long to complete the painting. I would take it out and add a few touches and then return to other ideas.

But I think it was worth taking my time.

The title is simple, the table.
